Bertelsmann Celebrates Entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurship is the focus of a two-day conference in Amsterdam attended by 300 business leaders

Amsterdam, September 4, 2024 – At its first two-day “Leading Entrepreneurship Conference” in Amsterdam, Bertelsmann presents itself as a home for entrepreneurs. Today and tomorrow, more than 300 executives from the international media, services, and education group will be exchanging ideas on the conditions and foundations needed for successful entrepreneurship. They were invited to the Dutch capital by Thomas Rabe, Chairman and CEO of Bertelsmann, and Núria Cabutí, Chair of the Bertelsmann Management Representative Committee, the group's international representative body for executives.

We are taking the Leading Entrepreneurship Conference as an opportunity to celebrate entrepreneurship.”

This strategy encompasses the development of existing businesses (Boost), regional expansion (Regional Boost), the development of new businesses (Next), and possible major mergers (Breakout).”
A few years ago, Bertelsmann held a conference in London dedicated to the topic of Creativity. Now, in Amsterdam, the second of the Bertelsmann Essentials, Entrepreneurship, takes center stage. The conference is being attended by executives from all parts of the Bertelsmann world, led by Thomas Rabe along with fellow Executive Board members Carsten Coesfeld, Thomas Coesfeld, Rolf Hellermann, and Immanuel Hermreck.
