Wiz Khalifa Partners With BMG

BMG will release “Wizzlemania”, the upcoming studio album by famous US rap star Wiz Khalifa. The first single, “You (ft. Ty Dolla Sign)”, was already released. For his past albums, Wiz Khalifa was multi-Platinum certified and nominated for a Grammy and Golden Globe award.

Multi-Platinum certified, Grammy and Golden Globe nominated recording artist Wiz Khalifa from Pittsburgh has partnered with BMG to release his upcoming studio album “Wizzlemania”. The announcement follows the release of the album’s first single, “You (ft. Ty Dolla Sign)”, produced by Caridak, Wu10 and Hitmaka. Wiz Khalifa said: “I’m excited to join the BMG family and will continue to release tracks for all my fans to love, starting with ‘You’. I can’t wait for everyone to hear the full album soon!”

Wiz Khalifa is currently wrapping up his European tour and follows his “The Good Trip Tour”, which completed seven shows in seven days, with Khalifa performing alongside Joey Bada$$, Berner, Smoke Dza and Chevy Woods. He will continue his tour this summer by kicking off the 33-date “High School Reunion Tour” in July with Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Warren G, Berner, and special guest DJ Drama. Khalifa burst onto the scene with the release of his first major label debut album, “Rolling Papers”,‎ in 2011. ‎The album spawned the hit singles “Black and Yellow”, “Roll Up” and “No Sleep” before going on to earn Best New Artist at the 2011 BET Awards and Top New Artist at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. The single “Black and Yellow” also earned him his first two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
