“Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern” welcomed representatives from 66 partner organizations at the headquarters in Cologne-Deutz and presented donation cheques to them. The money will help countless children in need.
The “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern” team recently welcomed representatives of 66 partner organizations, associations and foundations at the headquarters of RTL Deutschland in Cologne-Deutz. Wolfram Kons, RTL’s Head of Charity, presented donation cheques amounting to a total of €14,549,870 to almost 100 guests. The money was raised during the “RTL-Spendenmarathon 2022” and has now been distributed.
Children’s relief projects around the world
Stiftung RTL has been successfully cooperating with some of the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for many years, and countless children’s relief projects around the world have been funded. The partner organizations have various focus areas, including the support of socially disadvantaged families, the care for seriously ill children, trauma recovery, educational programs, grief counselling, integration of refugee children, children’s and youth hospice work, and many more.The presentation of the cheques takes place each year and is enormously important for the team of Stiftung RTL since partners can also network with each other at the event. Additionally, Wolfram Kons and his team can learn about where their help is going and where it is still urgently needed.
