Riverty Joins Forces With Financial Service Provider Mollie
Riverty will complement the existing payment methods of the European financial service provider Mollie with its “Buy now, pay later (BNPL)” service. It handles every aspect of the payment process – from payment selection to invoice acquisition to payment reminders and potential debt collection. Mollie customers can now offer end users and additional option to pay afterwards, with a payment period of up to 30 days.
Mollie, one of Europe’s fastest growing financial service providers, joins forces with Riverty, Arvato Group’s financial solution provider, for “Buy now, pay later (BNPL)” services. Mollie customers can now offer end users an additional option to pay afterwards, with a payment period of up to 30 days. The new payment method helps to optimize conversion for e-commerce merchants – the shares of the actual purchases resulting from online product searches – and further simplify the payment processes. Riverty’s services are available for Mollie customers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Support for e-commerce companies
With its partnership with Riverty, Mollie is once again expanding its range of BNPL payment methods. In total, Mollie now offers more than 30 different payment methods. Riverty's solution is seamlessly integrated with Mollie, allowing customers – online shops and e-commerce portals – to activate it in their Mollie Dashboard with just a few clicks. The BNPL service handles every aspect of the payment process – from payment selection to invoice acquisition to payment reminders and potential debt collection. Riverty offers extensive branding configurability at multiple consumer touchpoints, ensuring the merchant's brand remains front and center. This unique approach enhances consumer loyalty and helps build a stronger, more recognizable brand presence.
Jörg Schnelle, Chief Commercial Officer at Riverty said: “Joining forces with Mollie strengthens our commitment to helping our merchants to stay true to their brands while converting and retaining customers. We’re excited to be partnering with an ambitious and service minded fintech player such as Mollie to make this happen.”
Koen Köppen, CEO at Mollie, said: “Riverty is a recognized BNPL method and the company focuses particularly on the European market. At Mollie, we have the same focus, making our ambitions a good match. Last year, we made great strides to further align our product offering with our customers’ needs, with the launches of Mollie Terminal and Mollie Invoicing also being great examples of this. By now adding Riverty as a payment method, e-commerce companies can offer their customers even more freedom in the payment process.”
