Filming Begins On Season Two Of ‘Maxton Hall’
While season one continues to get lots of streams on Amazon Prime Video, UFA Fiction has recently begun producing the next series of the internationally successful TV series “Maxton Hall.” Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten once again star in the second season of the series, which generated the highest launch-week viewer numbers of a non-American original series on Prime Video.
Filming has now begun on the second season of “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us”. “Maxton Hall” is the most successful international original series in the history of the streaming service Amazon Prime Video – and it is produced by UFA Fiction. Season two of the series is based on “Save You,” book two in the “Maxton Hall” series of novels by German bestselling author Mona Kasten.

UFA Fiction reports that since the first season launched on May 9, it achieved the highest launch-week viewer numbers of a non-American original series on Prime Video across all countries in the world. Maxton Hall” took first place in the Prime Video charts in more than 120 countries and territories. The “Maxton Hall effect” can be seen throughout Germany, e.g. in the case of the two lead actors Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, whose social media channels saw a 480 and 3,900 percent increase in reach, respectively, as well as with the city of Hanover, which claims to have seen an increase in tourism.

After their shared night of love at Oxford and with her big life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Damian Hardung) family changes everything, and James himself, of all people, brings her back to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. Never before has she had such strong feelings for anyone as for James – and never before has she been so deeply hurt. She wants her old life back, when she knew no one at Maxton Hall and wasn’t part of the elitist world of her classmates.
