Carsten Coesfeld has served as CEO of Bertelsmann Investments since 2022, responsible for the Group's education business since January 1, 2025, and has sat on the Bertelsmann Executive Board since the beginning of 2024. He previously worked for Arvato Group and Penguin Random House divisions, among others. In conversation with Isabelle Körner, he talks about his career to date, how he defines “entrepreneurship” and what makes Bertelsmann so special for him in this connection.
