Realytics, an ad-tech company owned by the RTL Deutschland subsidiary Smartclip, has launched a new feature to calculate the carbon footprint of TV campaigns. The carbon footprint calculator is a new feature of Realytics’ flagship solution Adkymia, a platform that automates and simplifies the buying process for linear TV campaigns. With the new feature, Adkymia now offers a measurement of carbon equivalent emission data (CO2e) across the entire production chain: from the creation of advertising film to its broadcast. Guillaume Belmas, CEO and co-founder of Realytics, says: “This tool allows both our customers and our sector to catch up regarding ecological and environmental issues. On this subject, we have once again successfully sought to innovate; thus, we are delighted to contribute to the technological transformation of the TV advertising market and more broadly to the energy transition.” French ad-tech company Realytics, which was acquired by Smartclip in May 2022, is a leader in TV performance technologies and automated data-driven linear TV buying in Europe.
