Arvato Employees Donate To Charity

Like last year, the managers of the Arvato business division Consumer Products together with the works council decided to waive the traditional Christmas gifts for employees and to instead donate the amount to charity projects. Recently, €3,000 was handed over to the projects. The employees were able to vote for the recipient of the donation this year. An important criterion was the local relevance in order to have a positive influence in the immediate area. €1,500 goes to the project “Enniger hilft” in Ennigerloh in the Warendorf district, which supports children’s homes and hospitals in Tulcea, Romania, and another €1,500 to the Kinderschutzbund child protection association in the Gütersloh district, which helps families in the region. “We take responsibility for our employees, for society, and for our environment with the goal to create a better future,” was a joint statement by Julia Börs, President Beauty & Luxury at Arvato, and Heike Schirrmeister, Vice President Consumer Products at Arvato. “It is great to see that our colleagues have the same mindset and agree with this initiative. We are already thinking about doing it again this year by giving money to charity instead of spending it on Christmas gifts.”
