With the “Christmas Charity Club Concert 3.0” of “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern” one of Germany’s most successful charity events again took place at “Andreas Quartier” in Düsseldorf. As a symbol of the collective social commitment, the “Andreas Quartier” was festively lit on December 5 in anticipation of the holiday season. The evening supported the foundation for the third time, and a total of €170,000 was raised during the event with 120 guests.
Celebrity guests
In the noble setting of “Andreas Quartier” – a court building from 1911 until 2016 – guests, artists and organizers got together following the joint initiative of Frankonia Eurobau AG and “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern” to make a commitment to the fight against child poverty in North Rhine-Westphalia. Singer and entertainer Marc Marshall supplied the musical entertainment; later, the guests were invited to an after-show dinner. The event was accompanied by the hosts, Manuela and Uwe Schmitz, as well as RTL’s Head of Charity Wolfram Kons. Among the guests were numerous celebrities from film and the arts as well as representatives from business and politics.
