New Lenny Kravitz Album Out May 24

BMG has released “Human,” the second single from the upcoming studio album by singer Lenny Kravitz. “Blue Electric Light,” the artist’s first double album, will be released on May 24. It is the twelfth studio album by the BMG star, who has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide to date.

On May 24, BMG will release “Blue Electric Light,” the new album by singer Lenny Kravitz. The hit lead single for the new work, “TK421,” was released last October. “Blue Electric Light” is the BMG recording artist’s twelfth studio album and his first double album. Parallel to the announcement of the release date, BMG released the second single off the album, “Human.” “This song means so much to me, it’s about all of us,” said Kravitz about “Human.” “We are all in this, we are here to be human, we are all spiritual beings and in the human spirit, the journey is beautiful.”

“Blue Electric Light” was created in Lenny Kravitz’s own studio in the Bahamas. Serving as songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Kravitz wrote and performed most of the instruments himself, supported by his longtime guitarist Craig Ross. According to BMG, the new album is “a passionate suite of songs” by an artist whose music inspires millions of people around the world.

Over the course of his music career spanning more than three decades, Lenny Kravitz has released eleven studio albums and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. He became famous with hits such as “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Fly Away” and “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over.” The artist, who likes to reference 1960s and 1970s soul, rock and funk in his music, has won four consecutive Grammy Awards and also holds the record for the most “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” Grammies. Most recently, as reported, he was nominated for induction into the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Lenny Kravitz signed with BMG in 2018, after Bertelsmann’s music subsidiary had already managed the artist’s music rights for years. The first album BMG released as Kravitz’s recording and publishing partner was 2018’s “Raise Vibration.”
